Sun Solar Flare 2024 Today. The active region of sunspots responsible for these flares, named ‘noaa ar 3590’, is now approaching the centre of the solar disk and will soon point directly towards earth. Et on may 29, 2024.

The image shows a subset of extreme ultraviolet light that highlights the extremely hot material in flares created from a mixture of sdo’s aia 193, 171 and 131 channels. Solar flares are powerful bursts of energy.
